Hair Loss Integration systems provide a solution for clients who may not necessarily be suitable for Hair Extensions. These systems are becoming increasingly popular for people suffering from alopecia, thinning hair and hair that may be too short for extensions. You must be qualified in the Celebrity or Invisible Weave method to be able to complete this training course.
You will receive an industry recognised certification with our courses. Our in-person courses are accredited with ABT, the most recognised accrediting body for Hair Loss courses in the UK.

You will learn everything you need to know to become a Hair Integration Specialist including: health and safety; hair loss physiology and anatomy; hair growth cycle, male and female hair loss types, how to conduct a consultation; tailoring and placement of the systems; application, maintenance and removal of the systems; cutting and blending; aftercare; pricing; trade suppliers and discounts; marketing and insurance.
You will be provided with manuals, an accredited certificate upon completion and a full professional training kit which includes everything you will need to apply, maintain and remove the tailored systems.
You will receive your manuals to look through and understand the theory before the course. You will then attend one full day of practical training (9.30am-4pm), followed by the completion of live model case studies in your own time to achieve your qualification.
You can choose to pay via payment plan over 12 months at the checkout. If accepted, you will be able to take your training immediately.

The Hair Loss Mesh Integration System can be custom made as a complete system to fit any required area of coverage on the head, from partial mesh to full head. Once fitted, it gives the illusion of a full head of hair. The Hair Loss Mesh Integration System is more expensive and time consuming to apply than the Crown Volumiser System, but is suitable for a much wider range of clients with more complex requirements.
It is ideal for clientele with thinning hair, short hair all over the head or alopecia in areas with up to 70% hair loss. If the client only has thinning or alopecia to the crown or parting area, they may be more suitable for the Crown Volumiser System.
The Crown Volumiser System can be custom made to the area of coverage required in the crown and parting area only. This system can be fixed in place or made easily removable on a daily basis. Once fitted, it gives the illusion of full hair around the crown and frontal areas. The Crown Volumiser System has a much faster application time due to it’s meshless nature and is more affordable, comfortable and maintainable than a full Hair Loss Mesh Integration System. However, there are some exclusions for this method.
It is ideal for clientele with thinning, alopecia or short hair around the parting and crown area only. The client must have healthy growth across the rest of the head for this system. If the client has alopecia, weak hair or hair too short to fit extensions to the rest of the hair, they would be more suited to the Hair Loss Mesh Integration System.
We try to plan our training courses around 6 months in advance so you are aware when training is coming to your area. The exact location and venue is confirmed approximately two weeks before the training date. We usually hold the courses either in the centre of the town/city, or just off the motorway, where possible.
All of our training courses consist of at least one or two days practical, then live models to be completed after the course date – please see the specific course information for further details.

Yes, all of our Hair Extension courses are suitable for everyone – from complete beginners to advanced hairdressers and extension technicians looking to refresh and update their skills.
Our Hair Loss Integration courses are only suitable if you’ve previously trained in a weave method (you can add this on whilst booking though!). Masterclasses and refresher courses are available for those who are already extension qualified but want to update and advance their skills.
The courses usually run from 9.30am until 4pm for Hair Loss. However, in rare cases, these timings may be changed slightly, but you will be notified when you receive your venue confirmation around 2 weeks before your course. If you complete the practical faster than others in your class, you will be allowed to leave earlier, as long as the educator is happy with your work.
Yes. Our courses are ABT and CPD accredited which are the biggest and most recognised accreditation providers for hair extensions.

We believe it is so important that students receive support because we know that training in something new is a learning curve. You can contact us for support any time after your course, and you’ll also get exclusive access to our Graduates Support Hub community group.

We provide full social media training as well as marketing and advertising tips and techniques to help you get started. This will help you build your client base from the moment you leave our training. You must be committed and consistent with your marketing to make your new career work – Rome wasn’t built in a day!
Our online support hub is also a great way to interact and gain tips from other graduates, trainers and professionals and we can provide free marketing for you by sharing your work on our social media also (please tag us). We also have our Members Club (additional membership) should you want further support with social media training and becoming fully booked.
Maxwell Melia Academy are committed to providing five star rated training with a guaranteed pass rate if assessment is completed within 3 months. You will receive feedback on your assessments and will be given the opportunity to make any improvements so that you can pass. We also offer free refresher courses up to 3 months after the training if you do not feel confident, as well as further training and support in the support groups.
